Overview and Scrutiny Committee and scrutiny panels conduct research to assist in specific investigations or studies they are undertaking. This may involve surveys, focus groups or public meetings. On this page you will find links to individual scrutiny consultations, which will provide you with further information about each consultation such as:
- the aims and objectives;
- what information they are seeking to obtain; and
- who they are seeking to involve.
The Committee has now finalised its work plan for 2018/19 and 2019/20. In developing this, it sought the views of local residents and community organisations on the issues that the Committee and its panels should look at and what their priorities should be.
This was done through an online questionnaire and a 'Scrutiny Café' where a range of local community organisations and stakeholders were invited to give their views. Feedback from this consultation exercise is available below:
