The consultation results demonstrate that there is strong support for the development of a new market in Tottenham. The majority of respondents would like it to be outside with a wide variety of stalls to meet the needs of the local community, complement existing businesses/markets and bring prosperity to the area.

Next Steps

The consultation report will be considered by the Tottenham Regeneration Team and the Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Social Inclusion. Following which a decision will be made on holding a pilot market. If agreed,the market date and location will be advertised and stallholders will be able to apply for a stall.
