Priory Park Heritage Trail
Do you know where the Metcalf Fountain is located in Priory Park? Or why Priory Park is called what it is when there has never been evidence of a priory ever having existed on the site? Well now you can with the help of four boards located around the Park, detailing the history of the Park and surrounding area.
Award winning Priory Park celebrated its 80th birthday in 2006, and to mark the occasion a Heritage Trail was established. So get on down there and see what evidence you can find of the past.

Park opening and closing times
