About the park
Brunswick Park is a small local park providing welcome green space in a densely built-up area between Seven Sisters Road and West Green Road.
The park was upgraded in 2018 including refurbishment of the games area (including a new playing surface), refurbishment of benches, the creation of an outdoor gym, tree planting, new cycle stands and improvements to the paths, hard standing.
A new decorative entrance and fencing was also created at Roslyn Road gate.
There is a small but active Friends group who can be found on Facebook (by searching for ‘Friends of Brunswick Park N15’) and on Twitter @Brunswick_Park. New members are always very welcome.
The Friends organise an annual summer party (usually in early July) which is open to all.
History of the Park
The park was created about 50 years ago on land created by the closure of a railway line and redevelopment of housing in the area.
Latest Projects
The Friends are keen to create a wild flower meadow between the Birstall Road and Roslyn Road entrances.
