One of the most used and enjoyed aspects of Haringey’s parks over the summer months are the paddling pools and water play facilities. Free to enjoy, these provide kids with hours of fun and entertainment for splashing around and cooling down on long, hot, summer days.
Three of Haringey’s parks have paddling pools:
There is also a water play facility in the main playground in Finsbury Park which allows children to run through and splash in water that’s squirted out through jets from the ground.
- 26 July - 1 September: open every day
Facilities are open 7 days a week during the summer holidays. Facilities will be open on these dates weather permitting. If there are any changes to these planned dates they will appear on this page.
The paddling pools are generally emptied, cleaned and refilled three times a week.. They are checked and chlorine added where necessary throughout the week.
Children up to the age of 8 years can play in the paddling pools and water play feature and parental supervision is necessary at all times. Other rules and restrictions will apply and are detailed at individual sites.
