Get Up and Walk or Cycle
Walking in Haringey Parks and Open Spaces
We are always looking for new ways in which we can contribute to the well-being of Haringey residents and visitors, and to ensure the best opportunity of enjoying a long and healthy life.
Haringey has over 380 hectares of green open space available for us to use and enjoy. This provides a sense of freedom and relief from the built up environment, as well as somewhere to relax, play and exercise.
We have published Get Up and Walk which provides information on the best known walking opportunities within the borough, as well as a detailed map (see attached files section below).
Cycling for Recreation
Cycling for Recreation in Haringey is a new leaflet providing you with information on cycling in the borough
The leaflet includes a map of cycle and shared walking routes plus a calendar of group rides. So get on your bike and be off with you!
To get hold of a copy of either leaflet you can:
- download a copy from the attached files section below. Please note due to the amount of detail on the maps, the files below are over 4MB in size and may take some time to download on slower Internet connections.
- pick up a leaflet in your local library, health centre or customer services centre.
- or we can send you a copy. Just call 020 8489 1000 to request one.
