Easter Fun! There is an extensive programme of activities running in Haringey for children and young people during the Easter holidays.
Allotments
We manage 27 allotment sites covering just over 76 acres of land, with over 1,800 people leasing our allotments, growing anything from peas to prize roses.
Anyone can lease a plot for an annual fee - the average being £70.56 per year - but Haringey residents do get priority over those living outside the borough. And because of demand there is a long waiting list for plots on all sites, so you may have to wait some time before you are offered a place.
Tending to an allotment can be a rewarding and relaxing leisure activity. Allotment gardening is a hobby that can be enjoyed by everyone and is also very good exercise.
If you decide that you want to lease a plot you can benefit from the satisfaction of growing and eating your own produce. Using the list of allotment sites and map of allotment sites attached, please identify which site is convenient for you and contact the site secretary for more information.
