GoCitizen.co.uk is an online study resource for candidates preparing for the Life in the UK test or British Citizenship test. It includes an online version of the latest official study materials and hundreds of practice test questions in the same format as the official test.

It can be used on the library computers or from outside the libraries using your library card (when asked for a library logon ID, please type HA followed by your full library card number (8 digits or 7 digits+X) e.g. HA56666666 or HA5666666X).

Theory Test Pro

Theory Test Pro is a online simulation of the UK's driving theory test. It contains the entire official test question bank, hazard perception video clips and an online version of the Highway Code. 

It can be used on the library computers or from outside the libraries using your library card (when asked for a library logon ID, please type HA followed by your full library card number (8 digits or 7 digits+X) e.g. HA56666666 or HA5666666X).

Which?

Which? are an independent consumer information group providing reviews of products and services including washing machines, laptops, tablets, televisions fridge freezers and vacuum cleaners. 

This database is free to use in all libraries in Haringey but is not available by remote access.

Ancestry

Offers census, birth, marriage and death records. UK Census data covers from 1841 to 1901. Also contains strong coverage of USA.

This family history database is not available by remote access.

It is available through the Archives and Local History service and all libraries in Haringey for free.

Access to Research

Free online access to academic journal articles on Haringey Library computers.

The Access to Research service is a new initiative to give free, walk-in access to a wide range of academic articles and research in public libraries across the UK.

Over 10 million articles from more than 8,600 journals are available. Subjects covered include art, architecture, business, engineering, history, languages, politics, philosophy, mathematics and the sciences.
