- Some resources are only available in libraries across Haringey. If you wish to use these, please come into our libraries and ask a member of staff to log you on

Access to Research
Free online access to academic journal articles on Haringey Library computers.
The Access to Research service is a new initiative to give free, walk-in access to a wide range of academic articles and research in public libraries across the UK. Over 10 million articles from more than 8,600 journals are available. Subjects covered include art, architecture, business, engineering, history, languages, politics, philosophy, mathematics and the sciences.
Available from library PCs only.

COBRA - Complete Online Business Reference Advisor
COBRA is a comprehensive and continually updated online encyclopaedia and reference resource for business advisers, early stage/seedcorn finance providers and information professionals who provide advice and support to micro-business owners, small firms and new business start-ups.
COBRA contains several thousand practical, factual and digestible reports, guides, factsheets and reference resources in a unique repository which includes:
- Business Opportunity Profiles (BOPs)
- Business Information Factsheets (BIFs)
- UK Market Synopses
- Local Area Profiles

GoCitizen.co.uk at Haringey Libraries
GoCitizen.co.uk is an online study resource for candidates preparing for the Life in the UK test or British Citizenship test. The service includes an online version of the latest official study materials licensed from the Home Office and the people who write the handbook. In addition there are hundreds of practice test questions in the same format as the official test.
Access to GoCitizen.co.uk is completely free for members of Haringey Libraries, who can also access it from outside the libraries using their library card number.

Theory Test Pro at Haringey Libraries
Theory Test Pro is a highly realistic online simulation of the UK's driving theory test. It contains the entire official test question bank, hazard perception video clips and an online version of the Highway Code. All this material is licensed from the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), the people who set the tests.
Access to Theory Test Pro is completely free members of Haringey Libraries and can access from outside the libraries using their library card number.

Ancestry.com (Library Edition)
Offers census, birth, marriage and death records. UK Census data covers from 1841 to 1901. Also contains strong coverage of USA. This family history database is not available by remote access. It is available through the Archives and Local History service and all libraries in Haringey for free.
Oxford Reference Online Guides

Includes over 50,000 biographies. - Oxford English Dictionary (external link)
Dictionary which is updated every quarter with around 1800 new words.

Which? are an independent consumer information group who provide reviews of products and services including:

This database is free to use in all libraries in Haringey but is not available by remote access.
