If there is a particular area you want to work in but you don't have the skills or experience you need, starting vocational training can be one of the best ways to improve your employability and gain the confidence and experience you'll need to land the job. Jobs for Haringey advisors can assist you with developing an action plan working towards your career goals.
If you do not meet the criteria for the Jobs for Haringey programme, Haringey Adults Learning Service offer a range of vocational courses. You may also find the right course at the CONEL - College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (external link).
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships can provide a range of benefits to people and the organisations they work for. They can be the first rung on the ladder of a successful and well paying career, and for employers it can be a way of attracting new talent and improving staff retention and productivity.
