Skills for life apprenticeships logoWe are kicking off National Apprenticeship Week on Monday 5 February 2024.

National Apprenticeship Week (external link) is a celebration of the positive impact that apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

This year, it runs between from 5 to 11 February 2024.

During National Apprenticeship Week, employers, apprentices and training providers come together to showcase the benefits of apprenticeships and the diverse range of opportunities available.

This includes events and other activities that aim to inspire people of all ages to consider an apprenticeship as a viable career path.

Our employment and skills services for residents will be running an Open Apprenticeship Day at Haringey Sixth Form College which includes paid opportunities.

Haringey Works: Apprenticeships Your Way!

  • Date and time: Thursday 8 February, 11am to 2pm
  • Venue: Haringey Sixth Form College, 120 White Hart Lane, Tottenham, N17 8HR
  • Audience: Haringey residents

  • hear from current and previous apprentices about the benefits
  • speak to one of our career advisors.

Our employment and skills services for businesses will be running an Information session focused on apprenticeships,levy funding and general business support for employers at Rising Green Youth Hub.

  • Audience: Businesses

  • Information on Apprenticeship Levy Transfer Funds 

  • Apprenticeship training for businesses 

  • Free Apprenticeship Recruitment
