Haringey Learns
HALS has changed to Haringey Learns
Our name change to Haringey Learns concludes the HALS Digital Improvement Programme - a digital makeover that has transformed us into an innovative learning environment.
The change is designed to make us more visible and better known so that we can reach more Haringey residents and communities.
Based in the heart of Wood Green, our face-to-face courses now take place in a purpose-designed learning centre with the latest learning technology.

Haringey Learns courses are currently FREE - apply now for your free place as fees are subject to change.

New career development courses/workshops
Haringey Learns has designed career development workshops/courses to support residents that have a range of barriers that make it harder for them to get into work - for example:
- being a woman
- a lone parent
- lack of childcare
- from ethnic minority backgrounds
- over 50's
- poor physical and mental health
- lack of employability skills
We are committed to supporting people to overcome these barriers.
- Building Confidence for Women Returning to Work
This 4 session programme of workshops is designed to support women in overcoming barriers to getting into and progressing in good work.
In the sessions you will learn how to evaluate your decision-making, build your confidence and access appropriate support.
