Exhibition: The Land Beneath Our Feet - the 1619 map
Exhibition is on until 23 February 2020 - open during Museum visiting hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 1pm to 5pm.
Enjoy our exhibition exploring the fascinating story of the 400 year old Dorset Survey of Tottenham and Wood Green and see the beautiful pictorial map created from it. Affectionately known as the 'upside-down map' (north is at the bottom and south at the top), it is the earliest known map of Tottenham and Wood Green, showing how the area was in 1619.
Generously supported by the Friends of Bruce Castle, National Lottery Community Fund and the Haringey Ward Budget Fund.
