A masterpiece of Victorian engineering, this remarkable restored beam pumping engine will be operated under steam to celebrate its commissioning in 1888. Attended by the Mayor of Haringey, the event will also show how the Markfield site served the Tottenham and Wood Green population between 1852 and 1964.
Also display of model engines and other attractions - an event for all!
Entry is free - however, the museum is a charity trust and we invite and encourage donations to support the preservation and operation of this special part of Tottenham's heritage.
Other Steam days this year: 27 August and 22 and 23 September 2018.
