Permissions and consents
You may require permissions or consents to start the works of your project; this can include planning permission, listed building consent, building regulations approval and licensing.
We advise you to seek pre-application advice from the council’s planning services before submitting a HCCF application. Please notify climate@haringey.gov.uk of your pre-application reference number once you have submitted if you are considering applying for Year 5 of the HCCF. It is important to submit clear and sufficient information when requesting pre-application advice to ensure the advice you receive is as comprehensive as possible.
Some works can take place without the need for planning permission. These are referred to as permitted development rights. By seeking pre-application advice, Haringey’s planning team can inform you whether your project would be considered permitted development. If so, you may wish to apply for a Certificate of Lawfulness for proposed development.
Please submit your bid for grant funding using the application forms in Word document format.
Please check you are completing the correct application form, and submit this with the necessary attachments to climate@haringey.gov.uk
You can refer to our mock examples of filled in application forms to guide you through question by question. It is important to note they are not suggested model answers, but only guidelines to clarify most commonly asked questions.
The online application form is unavailable this year due to a technical issue while the digital platform is being updated.
Please let us know if you need any help with filling in your form.
