Get Involved

Great British Spring Clean

Make a difference to your neighbourhood by joining the council and its partner Veolia for the Great British Spring Clean (external link) from 17 March to 2 April.

Residents and traders will be able to borrow gloves and litter pickers to spruce up their local park, street or wildlife area. We will also support the community clean-up by picking up the bags we supply after they have been filled. To register your interest and to book your kit, complete Veolia's Great British Spring Clean form (external link)

If you want to get involved in looking after your neighbourhood, we’d love to hear from you!

We have lots of active groups who look after parks, wildlife areas or litter pick their neighbourhood. The borough is full of residents who want to lead by example and create a borough we can all take pride in. The easiest thing you can do is put your litter in a bin, but let us know if you want to do more and meet other people who care about their neighbourhoods.
