We have joined Veolia in asking the public to be StreetKind to ensure our waste crews, street-cleansing operatives, outreach officers and Contact Centre staff are treated with the kindness, patience and respect that they deserve.
Our waste teams have worked hard to continue to provide a full service despite the challenges of COVID-19 and the national HGV driver shortage, but physical and verbal abuse towards staff has recently doubled.
