Reuse and Recycling Centre
Haringey’s Reuse and Recycling Centre (RRC) is in Wood Green, on Western Road, N22 6UG - see Google Maps location (external link)
You can take most waste that cannot go in your domestic bins to the Reuse and Recycling Centre.
Opening hours
- Monday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm
- The site is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday
Access and Entry requirements
There is a 1.6m height restriction barrier in use at this site. The height barrier will be opened for cars above this height, along with vans booked in as per the van procedure.
Please note that you cannot turn right into the RRC. Please approach the site from Coburg Road and turn left off Western Road to access the site.

Van or trailer visits - pre-booking required
Please make a booking at least 24 hours in advance of your visit. Proof of residency, such as a utility bill is required for van bookings.

Restrictions on hardcore, rubble, soil and stones
Each North London household can take up to 6 standard rubble sacks of soil/rubble to a Reuse and Recycling Centre each month. This includes concrete, brick, stones, pebbles, soil, sand and gravel.
A standard rubble sack is 51cm by 76cm (20 inches by 30 inches).
Commercial/trade waste
Trade (commercial) waste is not accepted at any of NLWA’s Reuse and Recycling Centres. However, please find a list of some local facilities (external link) that do accept trade waste. Please note that this list has been provided in good faith, but should not be taken as exhaustive or as an endorsement of the companies listed.
