You can have green waste from your garden collected weekly.

We provide a brown garden waste bin for all your grass and hedge trimmings and other green waste.

All subscriptions are charged in full and run from 1 April to 31 March, regardless of the date you sign up.

Once you have signed up

What you need to do

  • Leave your bin out by 6am on your collection day
  • Leave it where we can see it at the front of your property

We will not collect your bin if it is:

  • contaminated with non-garden waste
  • over-filled and the lid does not close
  • too heavy – don’t compact your waste

If you often have more waste than will fit in the bin, you can order another bin (external link).

When to renew

Each service year starts on 1 April through to 31 March. To make sure you get a full year of collections, please renew your service before 1 April.
