The council provides a free service for the removal of dead animals from publicly accessible areas. We will also remove larger dead animals (not mice, rats, squirrels or birds) from front gardens.
If you find a dead animal in a public space which isn't a park (such as on the pavement or street) please contact Veolia for more information. If there is a dead animal in your front garden, please contact Veolia to ask them to remove it.
If you find a dead animal in a park please contact the Parks Customer Care team telling us exactly where in the park the animal can be found, so we can remove it as soon as possible.
