Local Nature Reserves
Local Nature Reserves are areas of beauty where both people and wildlife can enjoy their surroundings together. They are places with wildlife or geological features that are of special interest locally, which give people special opportunities to study and learn about them or simply enjoy and have contact with nature.
Haringey has three Local Nature Reserves:
These statutory sites are protected by an Act of Parliament and have been chosen by the council in consultation with English Nature (external link).
For anyone wanting to visit Parkland Walk or Queens Wood all they have to do is show up. Opening times for Railway Fields may vary during the week.
