Nature and Conservation

Haringey is essentially a very urban borough. At the same time we take pride in managing areas of outstanding nature conservation, made up of a wide range of habitats playing host to a remarkable variety of wildlife.

The wildlife areas include many varieties of trees. On the streets, housing estates or in our parks, we manage over 35,000 trees and answer on average 2,500 calls a year on the topic. The pages in this section should provide you with some handy tips and advice as to how to look after the trees and wildlife in Haringey.
