Apply for virtual visitor parking permits

To be eligible to apply for hourly or daily short stay visitor parking permits, you must be a resident in a Haringey controlled parking zone (CPZ) and be aged 18 or over.

Please note that if you’re the landlord of a property and not living in it, you’re not eligible for visitors permits. You can instead apply for a permission to park permit to allow you to park near the property when carrying out work.

Follow the instructions below to apply for visitor parking permits in Haringey.

Do you have a current virtual resident permit?

Do you have a current paper permit?

Do you have valid proof of residency?

Proof of residency is one of the following:

  • a signed assured shorthold tenancy or the letter of completion from your solicitor, in which they confirm the property is for your residency only
  • a letter from HM Revenue or the Department of Work and Pensions, signed and recently dated
  • a signed housing association or council tenancy agreement
  • a driving licence photo identity card showing current address with the relevant controlled parking zone (CPZ)
Do you have valid proof of residency?

If you do not have a current virtual resident permit, or you have a paper resident permit, you'll need to apply for what's known as a 'resident qualification'.

If you are registered to vote or pay council tax, we will attempt to validate your residency automatically and you will not need to supply any proof of residency when you apply for a virtual resident qualification.

If you're not registered to vote or pay council tax – or if the automatic validation is not successful – you will need to provide proof of residency and upload a digital copy of one of the above documents as evidence of your address.

Once your application is approved, you'll be able to buy and activate visitor parking vouchers in your account, provided you have a valid debit or credit card.

Sorry without proof of residency you can't apply for visitor voucher permits as you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
