Haringey Giving has launched their COVID-19 Appeal and are urgently seeking donations to raise £50,000 to support the people in our community who need it the most.
All donations will go out to community groups, charities and not-for-profit initiatives who are supporting vulnerable people in Haringey - such as those who have low incomes, are homeless, unsafe at home, older and isolated, are a refugee or migrant, and people experiencing mental ill-health.
In particular, your donation will assist with:
- Providing safe, direct support to vulnerable people across our diverse communities.
- Enabling charities to change from face-to-face to online and telephone support.
- Ensuring that charities can continue to deliver vital local services and meet increasing demands.
- Supporting collaboration and partnership working to avoid duplication and improve co-ordination of support
