Council Tax scams warning: fraudsters pretending to be from the council, Valuation Office Agency and GOV.UK are calling, texting and emailing people. If you are asked for your bank details, told to pay a fee or sent a link to claim a refund it is probably a scam. We will not ask you to pay a fee for a refund, or for your bank details.
Following a review of the Haringey Support Fund the council has taken the decision to close the scheme as of the 1 April 2016. Further information about this decision is available on the Agendas and Minutes page.

The Department for Work and Pensions continue to be responsible for discretionary payments such as Short Term Advances, Budgeting Loans (for those not on Universal Credit) and Budgeting Advances (for those on Universal Credit).
Short Term Advances are available to people who are experiencing issues with their benefits while Budgeting Loans and Advances are available to people with intermittent expenses.
