Training for the Voluntary and Community Sector

Accessing Learning and Development through Haringey Council

We offer a number of places on our courses to voluntary sector and partner organisations (these may be face to face or virtual training).

Most fall into the following categories:

  • Adult Social Care - provider skills
  • Supporting those with a learning disability
  • Safeguarding

Full details of all courses available can be found in the Adults Learning and Development Plan - Voluntary/Community sector and external providers (PDF, 352KB).

  • Some courses are free, whilst others cost from £10 per person. Group discounts are available for 10 or more bookings.  
  • A £50 cancellation fee is charged if a participant books but does not attend, or does not give at least five working days notice.

Courses currently available can be viewed on FUSE (external link). To apply please complete the External partners booking form (Word, 126KB) and email this to AdultWorkforce@haringey.gov.uk

If this is your first time registering your company on FUSE, please complete the  FUSE registration form (Excel, 10KB) and email it to AdultWorkforce@haringey.gov.uk to create a user account.

We work closely with Bridge Renewal Trust who are our main partner for working with those in the voluntary and community sector to reduce health inequalities; build stronger communities and improve the quality of life of the people of Haringey.
