Celebrating the King's coronation in Haringey

The coronation of King Charles III will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London.

This is a great opportunity for communities across Haringey to join together in celebrations and street parties over the bank holiday weekend from Saturday 6 May to Monday 8 May.

We will be updating this page with details of events around Haringey and resources that will help you to set up your own celebrations.

Street parties

In celebration of this historic occasion, we’re helping residents to hold their own street parties by closing their roads off to traffic for one day.

The deadline to apply for a street party is 26 March 2023. Click on the link below for more information and guidance.

Our fantastic parks are also great places to hold events. There is no fee for using a park for a small event (up to 100 people).

However, you should apply so that we can help make sure your event is safe and well organised.
