School SENDCO's

Resources and support for all school SEND Co-ordinators (SENDCOs) in Haringey. Below is an overview of key resources and contacts to assist you in your role.

SEND support guide for all schools

The Core Standards and SEND Support Guidance outlines the support that all mainstream schools in Haringey should provide for children and young people with SEND.

You can find this document, along with referral forms and other resources, on the SENDCO forms and resources page.

SENDCO mainstream cluster groups

Mainstream schools in Haringey are grouped by phase into cluster groups. Each group is led by a SENDCO Support Partner and meets once per term to:

  • Develop school capacity to meet the needs of children with SEND by strengthening collaborative partnerships to support and challenge.
  • Create a distributed leadership model for SEND across Haringey
  • Improve consistency of provision for children across Haringey schools

2025 dates: SENDCOs will be contacted by their SENDCO Support Partner by the end of September with the cluster group dates for the year.

Support: If you are unsure how to contact your SENDCO Support partner, please contact Sarah.shaughnessy@haringeyeducationpartnership.co.uk
