Haringey Welcomes the World - Virtual Concert

Premiered on YouTube - 16 July 2020

Virtual performance by Haringey Young Musicians in place of the cancelled Haringey Schools Music Festival, scheduled for the Royal Albert Hall in June 2020. Features approximately 500 performers, including over 100 singers from Haringey schools and over 200 members of Haringey Young Musicians groups, with guest performances from international partners representing Finland, Hungary, Peru, Sweden and South Africa.

Also includes five world premieres of new pieces composed for concert by teachers from Haringey Music Service.

Haringey Goes Wild in Finsbury Park 2018

Finsbury Park Community Stage - 4 July 2018

Over 1,000 children from schools across Haringey took part in a repeat of 'Haringey Goes Wild' on the Community Stage in Finsbury Park. The event was kindly supported by Haringey Council and Festival Republic.

Royal Albert Hall - 4 June 2018

Over 2,000 children from schools across Haringey took part in the Haringey Schools' Music Festival at the Royal Albert Hall. The highly successful concert included specially commissioned pieces by local composers Kate Stilitz and Laura Forrest-Hay celebrating our wild spaces in Haringey, as well as pieces by local composers Ty Lowe and Thomas Gregory.
