Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT) Haringey16 years and over

The CRHT service provides an urgent outreach service, and assessment 24 hours a day, seven days a week, wherever people are at the point of referral e.g. GP surgery, A&E, or in their own homes. A team of mental health professionals providing intensive care and support in patients homes as an alternative to acute inpatient admission. Patients can self-refer to the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT).

More Than MentorsFrom 13 to 20 years

More Than Mentors programmes takes an Early Action approach aimed at preventing future mental health need for young people through an innovative model of peer mentoring. By supporting students who present early, we aspire to address early markers for mental health needs such as depression, stress and anxieties, and reduce associated symptoms. Through peer mentoring we are looking to build young people’s emotional resilience and self-confidence, improve their attendance and attainment at school and offer a preventative approach to mental health and emotional distress within Haringey.

The Lighthouse 0-18 years and up to 25 years (those with learning disabilities)

The Lighthouse is a facility in north London, set up in partnership with organisations in the voluntary and public sectors to provide a safe space to support children and young people, from 0-18, in their recovery from sexual abuse or exploitation. It also supports adults aged 18-25 with learning disabilities, if The Lighthouse service best meets their needs.

Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation TrustNo age range

Being a young person can be tough, especially if you are struggling with personal or emotional difficulties. Haringey residents need to be referred by a GP, Social Worker or a local CAMHS service. Family assessment, Family Mental Health, Forensic CAMHS, Fostering, First Steps, Autistic Spectrum conditions and Learning Disabilities, Parent Condition Service (PCS), Patman Clinic for disturbing sexual behaviours, Criminality and Violence, Refuge Services.

Referrals are via CAMHS, Social workers in schools and GPs.
