Youth Space is a website and Youth Club for young people in Haringey who are aged between 11 and 19 (up to 25 years old where there is a specific additional need or disability). They can direct you to access a wide range of informal learning opportunities that enable young people to feel safe, to develop as individuals and to participate, and contribute, as valued members of our community including: What's On at Bruce Grove Youth Club, Jobs and Apprenticeships, local support services for young people, help for Young Carers, children in or leaving care and advice on staying safe or if you have been a victim of crime.

Beat is a leading charity for young people with eating disorders. They have a general Helpline, Youth Helpline and Student Helpline. They have online discussion boards that they moderate. Child Development CentreChildren and young people

The Child Development Centre at St Ann’s provides a comprehensive service to babies, pre school and school aged children with complex special needs.

The service includes Consultant Paediatricians, Specialist Health Visitors, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Dieticians.

The children may be offered an appointment at the clinic, home or at school. The centre also offers a specialist Immunisation Service for children.

Families can face challenges with a range of issues and Haringey’s Early Help Service can offer advice and guidance as well as practical, hands-on support, with a whole family approach. Gangs ProgrammeFor anyone between the ages of 16 to 24 years

A programme for anyone aged between 16-24 who are affected by gangs and serious violence, can get support, no matter what borough they live in. Haringey Thinking SpaceAll ages

Haringey thinking space aims to improve mental health and community wellbeing in Haringey. With therapeutic spaces in the community where local residents can meet regularly to share their difficulties and think together about how best to address them. This helps them to make changes and build the strength and resilience needed to confront adversity.They have weekly meetings every Tuesday, 6.30-8.30pm. Residents can self-refer by simply attending a thinking space meeting. Health, social care and education professionals can inform Haringey residents about thinking space meetings if they think it would be of benefit to a particular individual.

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT Services)For 16 years and over

Let’s Talk Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) is a free NHS evidence-based talking therapy service for people 16 years old and over, who are worried or have low mood. We provide a range of treatment programmes including one to one therapy, counselling and group work. Our service is comprised of:

  • Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), who are skilled at helping people find practical ways to manage their difficulties. Methods used include guided self-help, stress management skills, computerised cognitive behavioural therapy and psycho-education groups
  • CBT therapists, who are trained to deliver cognitive behavioural therapy with you alone or in a group
  • Counsellors who are trained to provide you with an opportunity to talk about day to day difficulties as well as difficulties from the past
  • Online Therapy delivered by accredited therapists and counsellors, using instant chat on a secure platform, available 24/7
