Pupil Referral Unit
Sometimes, children need support for short periods of time if they are finding it difficult to manage their behaviour in school. In these instances, a child may be referred to a Pupil Referral Unit (known as an 'Alternative Provision') for a short period of time.
Please see attached information below about Alternative Provisions, and their role. If you are concerned about your child's behaviour at school, you may also want to talk to your school Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
- Please also see the section on managing your child's behaviour at home and at school.
