Positive Families Partnership

Positive Families Partnership - Family Functioning Therapy (FFT):

An evidence based programme that works to improve communication and sportiveness between parents or guardians and young people, while decreasing hostility. Other goals include helping family members adopt positive solutions to family problems, and developing positive behaviour change and parenting strategies

Positive Families Partnership - Multisystemic Therapy:

An intensive, community based programme that addresses reasons for the young person's serious antisocial behaviour and family difficulties that could lead to a young person being placed away from home. The therapy focuses on addressing individual, family and environmental factors that impact the young person's behaviour. A strength based approach that works with parents and carers as well as young people, to understand the reasons for the difficulties in the young person and family.
