Premises licence interim authority notice
A premises licence lapse
A premises licence will lapse if the licence holder:
- becomes mentally incapacitated
- becomes insolvent
An interim authority notice will reinstate the premises licence from the time the notice is received. The person giving the notice will become the licence holder.
- The interim authority notice must be made within 28 days of the licence lapsing so the premises can continue to trade.
- A transfer of premises licence must take place within three months. If not, the licence will lapse again.
