Over 100,000 homes in Haringey require retrofitting and energy efficiency improvements to meet the Haringey’s net zero goals by 2041.
This represents:
- a £5.6 billion opportunity for the construction industry in Haringey
- an estimated 2,600 jobs to be created to undertake these projects
We need retrofit professionals and tradespeople ready with the green skills, who can provide the knowledge and abilities required to design, construct and maintain sustainable buildings. They are in demand to support this burgeoning green construction markets, bolstering the local economy, enhancing the health and well-being of residents, as well as achieving our net zero target.
