Notice of application for premises to be approved as a venue for marriages and civil partnerships
The Marriage [Approved Premises] Regulations 1995 state that premises can be approved by the Council if in its opinion amongst other things:
- they are seemly, dignified and regularly available for marriages and partnerships;
- they have adequate fire and other appropriate safety precautions; and
- they have no recent, or continuing connection with any religion, which is incompatible with the use of the premises as a venue for marriages and civil partnerships

Any person wishing to see the application and plans of the premises may do so by appointment at Haringey Register Office, George Meehan House, 294 High Road, London, N22 8JZ
Any person wishing to object to the application must give notice of their reasons, for example, why the premises do not comply with the conditions required by the Regulations.
