Apply for visitor parking permits

This tool will help guide you through the steps required to apply for visitor parking permits.

To be eligible for a hourly or daily short stay visitor permit you must be a resident in a Haringey Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and be aged 18 or over.

Landlords: Please note that if you are landlord of a property and not residing in it, you are not eligible for visitors permits. You can however, apply for a Trader's Permit to allow you to park near the property whilst carrying out work. This can be found on the Trader's Permits page.

Apply now

Start your application by answering the following questions:

Is this the first time you have applied for a visitor permit from us?

Before you can order your visitor permits you will first need to register for an account with us. You can do this by sending an email to permits-vouchers@haringey.gov.uk providing proof of your address.

Proof of residency

The easiest way to provide us with your proof of residency is to give us your council tax reference number. If you are not registered for council tax then please provide us with a digital copy of one of the following documents as evidence of your address:

  • A signed assured shorthold tenancy or the letter of completion from your solicitor in which they confirm the property is for your residency only
  • Letter from HM Revenues or Department of Work and Pensions
  • Housing Association or Council Tenancy Agreement
  • Driving license photo identity card showing updated address within the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)

Concessionary rate permit requests

To be eligible for our concessionary visitor permits, you will also need to confirm if you are aged 65 or over, or registered disabled and provide proof to reflect this. This could be a copy of the following:

  • Age criteria:
    • Birth certificate
    • Drivers license
    • Medical card
    • Disabled Persons Freedom Pass or Blue Badge
  • Disability criteria:
    • Letter from Department for Work and Pensions that states that the residents are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or Attendance Allowance

Timescales

Once we have received your request for registration for standard or concessionary visitor permits, we aim to process your request within 5 working days and send you a confirmation email.
