Tottenham Fund

A new Tottenham Fund has been set up to help Haringey people affected by disturbances at the weekend - and accept the many generous offers of donations from local residents and businesses.

Officially called the Mayor’s Special Fund – Tottenham Fund, contributions can be made in the following ways:

• Pay online - using PayPal, credit card or your bank account (where available)
  Visit our secure Tottenham Fund PayPal website (external link)
• By cheque – Payable to Mayor’s Special Fund – Tottenham Fund
  Send to: London Borough of Haringey, PO Box 55235, London, N22 9DF
• Direct to the bank (either in a branch or by e-banking)
  Payee: Mayor’s Special Fund – Tottenham Fund

  Account number: 90724828

The fund is expected to be in operation for a limited period and the council will ensure that the generous donations are used appropriately to meet the needs of the community.

An application process for those seeking assistance is currently be worked on – with the number of final awards governed by the final level of donations.

The fund is being managed through the Mayor of Haringey’s charity account, to ensure that all donations are kept separate from the council’s own finances.
