Keeping the Ladder roads clean

Pupil with teacherPosters designed by school children preventing littering and dog fouling will be displayed around the Harringay Ladder after they won a poster competition organised during a Clean Sweep of the area.

Children from South Harringay and North Harringay primary schools were presented with their awards this week by Haringey Cabinet Member for Enforcement and Safer Communities,Cllr Nilgun Canver.

She said:

"I congratulate these young people on their lovely posters and for being so concerned about keeping our streets clean and free of litter and dog mess. The council is working hard to keep the borough looking good but we need everyone to help, including young people."
