We offer a wide range of computer courses from beginners to more advanced level courses. These include Start IT for those who have never used a computer, beginners and introduction courses for those with some computing experience, European Computer Driving Licence for those wishing to gain a qualification and media and digital technologies for those who want to use their computers creatively.

Start IT
A programme of courses designed for complete beginners who have no or little experience of using computers. Courses include: mouse and keyboard, computer basics, Internet for beginners, email for beginners, and silver surfers Internet for over 60s.

European Computer Driving Licence Modules and Accredited Courses
An internationally recognised qualification for the job market, completed in modules at your own pace. Courses include: basic concepts, Word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations.
ECDL Essentials
This course consists of three examined modules leading to the ECDL Essentials qualification.
- Module 1: Concepts of Information Technology
- Module 2: Using the Computer and Managing Files
- Module 7: Information and Communication
Word Improvers. This course builds on skills learnt in the introductory course and explores features such as tabs and tables, drawing tools and graphics, and mail merging letters. You will have the opportunity to work towards a qualification.
Excel Improvers. The course builds on the skills learnt in the introductory course and explores features such as formulae and functions, formatting, charts and printing options. You will have the opportunity to work towards a qualification.
Access Improvers. This course builds on the skills learnt in the introductory course and explores features such as designing queries, forms and reports. You will have the opportunity to work towards a qualification.
PowerPoint Improvers. This course builds on the skills learnt in the introductory course and explores features such as slide masters, templates, transitions animations. You will have the opportunity to work towards a qualification.
Word Processing Level 1
New Word Processing unit will give candidates a basic introduction to wording processing

Unit 1- File management and e-document production. This accredited course will cover the following: Identify and use a computer work station, create and manage files, use word processing software correctly and basic formatting.
Unit 2 - Continue your studies with Unit 2, creating spreadsheets and graphs. You will learn how to enter data in existing database, create simple queries and searches, create appropriate pre-defined reports. This course runs over 3 terms, Termly payments options are available.
