What is Strategic and Physical Regeneration?
The Strategic and Physical Regeneration team in the Planning and Regeneration Service manages and assists in the delivery of very large strategic developments and delivers a range of physical improvement projects. The team also contributes to the development of planning policy documents.
They also provide the following services:
- giving planning advice to the council and partners on the delivery of major strategic developments where the council is a landowner
- undertaking work on masterplans and other planning studies to help regenerate and improve areas of Haringey
- delivering physical regeneration and heritage and conservation projects across the borough
- seeking opportunities for securing external grant funding to help deliver physical improvements, from sources including English Heritage, the Heritage Lottery Fund, the London Development Agency, the European Union and Central Government.
