Road works within the borough are either conducted by Haringey's highways maintenance contractors, or utility companies and/or their contractors. Please use the links below to find out more.

Major works
Major works are generally works planned to commence at least 6 months in advance.
Minor works
Minor works are works that are planned to be less than 3 days in duration and occupy less than 30 metres in length and leave a minimum carriageway width necessary for one-way traffic.
Emergency works
Emergency works are immediate works required to prevent or end a dangerous situation, or to to prevent or end an unplanned interruption to a supply (or to avoid loss to an to an existing supply).

Notices of works on the public highway in Haringey are displayed here, including major and minor streetworks. Information is provided by utility companies and the local highway authority. For more information about works, please contact the relevant utility company carrying out the works.
Location of streetworks - Symbols are located in the middle of a street unless a map reference is provided. Map locations of particular streetworks should therefore be treated as approximate.
Information provided - Statutory Undertakers are required to notify the local Highway Authority of any work on the public highway before work begins. The data provided by this website is updated daily during office hours. However, emergency roadworks can start before notice is given and in some cases, planned streetworks are abandoned before they start.
