Visiting groups including schools may book to visit at other times.

It is advisable to book an appointment as we may not otherwise be able to accommodate your visit.

  • Please note: the Museum and Archives are always closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday

Free family art and craft activities

Drop-in Sundays 2pm to 4pm and school holidays

All children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. No adult admitted without an accompanying child.

Step back to the 1950s and rock on down at our Diamond Vintage Fair this Jubilee Weekend:

  • vintage clothes, retro household goods, books and vintage-inspired gifts (of all periods)
  • Music from the 50s and vintage cafe

£1.50 entrance fee on the door. Free for accompanied children.

Stallholders please email museum.services@haringey.gov.uk for a booking form (stalls £25 per table).

Traditional Punch and Judy Show and Puppet-making Workshop

Do you remember the Press family touring their Punch and Judy booth in the parks in Haringey? Come along for a family puppet show from the latest Press Punch Professor.
and/or make a puppet yourself (£2 for materials).

Tottenham Community Festival and Carnival

Saturday 23 June
The carnival parade departs Eade Road N15 at 11am and arrives at 1pm at Bruce Castle Park.
Family fun at the festival is for all ages and begins at 12noon.
Local history and community stalls on the front lawn and family activity workshops.
Café serving tea and cake open in the museum.

Inspired by the watery surroundings near her Tottenham studio, Emily has created a series of paintings of Haringey Rivers and also explored some of London’s other less famous waterways.

Paintings from the end of the Victorian era through to the post-Great War years, depicting a once rural Tottenham.

Broadwater Farm: the story of a community 1967-2010

Built between 1967 and 1971, 'The Farm' is home to 4,000 people. This exhibition curated by Odin Biddulph charts the achievements of the community and the changes following the disturbances 26 years ago.
