Inclusion
Inclusion is an important part of Haringey’s programme. One of the key parts of our strategy was to create more inclusiveness to ensure that all young people meet their full potential and are prepared for adult life.
A new Inclusive Learning Campus has been created in Wood Green that combines Woodside High, Moselle and William C Harvey schools in one accessible campus. Meanwhile other schools have improved provision for special educational needs as part of the BSF programme. You can read more about these projects in the attached files section.
Our first completed project – The Sixth Form Centre in Tottenham - epitomises this. The college, which opened in September 2007, has a department supporting children with learning difficulties from our special schools. There are also open plan teaching areas and flexible classroom spaces. Student study areas and staff rooms are located within the departments (all colour-coded for instant recognition) with a central learning resource area for the whole college
