Site Allocations - Development Plan Document

Site Allocations Development Plan Document

What is the Site Allocations DPD?

The Site Allocations DPD forms part of the Local Development Framework. It contains some of the sites that we hope will be developed during the next 15 years, which addresses some of the land use needs in the borough. This document supports the land use requirements set out in the Core Strategy. It does not replace the planning process, so planning permission will still be required, but it does indicate the preferred uses for each site, where possible at this stage.

The consultation for this document was in May/June 2010. The consultation is now closed.

Next steps

The results of the consultation are being incorporated into the next draft of the document when decisions will also be made about which sites will still be included in the next draft.
