Visiting Haringey

Whether visiting the borough for business or pleasure, Haringey has something for everyone.

Go west and browse through Muswell Hill's shops or have a meal at one of Crouch End's international restaurants. Hop on a bus to Alexandra Palace, where public television was born and enjoy the spectacular view from its terrace, where, on a clear day, you can see all over London.

Go to Wood Green to shop or watch a blockbuster movie at one of its nineteen screens, and then escape to the Paddock, a rural oasis in the east of the borough that backs onto the River Lee. Buy some fresh fruit in Green Lanes, one of Haringey's culturally diverse areas, or spend some time in one of Haringey's 14 award-winning green flag parks.

Then finish your day with a stroll through picturesque Highgate Village and a drink in one of its garden pubs, or dance the night away at a Tottenham club.
