In 2011, 4Real Performed Live in Wood Green Library
Singing a capella in perfect harmony, local X Factor veterans 4Real said farewell to Diana Edmonds MBE, who over the past decade transformed Haringey Library Service from one of stagnation and decline into a thriving service admired by local authorities up and down the country. Wood Green Central Library itself is now one of the busiest in London.
Carers Hub
Our centre to help carers was opened by Cllr Dilek Dogus, who is now Cabinet Member for Health and Adults Services, and the Mayor of Haringey, Cllr Gina Adamou.
The Carers Hub at Wood Green Central Library has two main aims:
- to give carers a relaxing space, to meet other unpaid carers over a cup of tea /coffee or to access the internet
- to provide somewhere where carers can access information and advice.
