London Festival of Architecture 2018
We are delighted to announce that this year Wood Green is part of the London Festival of Architecture.
What is the London Festival of Architecture?
The London Festival of Architecture (LFA) is a yearly programme of public events celebrating London’s architectural practice, debate and experimentation. Running since 2004, LFA is Europe’s biggest annual architecture festival with 400,000 people attending the festival in 2017.
The 2018 programme runs between 1-30 June, and events will explore the broad theme of ‘identity’. for full programme information viisted the dedicated London Festival of Architecture website (external link).
Find Wood Green
Join us on Saturday 16 or Sunday 17 June between 10am and 4pm for a Wood Green treasure hunt with a difference.
Hidden from sight in ex-industrial buildings, factories, car parks and Wood Green’s signature red-brick 70’s brutalism, lies an array of talent that competes on the London and world stage, including musicians, sculptors, performance artists, vegan chefs, jewellers, saddlers and more. Wood Green has extraordinary spaces, creative enterprises and talented people.
Specifically for LFA, a specially curated treasure hunt will provide a unique opportunity to access these people, and get a chance to discover, see, hear, taste and watch the creativity that usually lies behind closed doors – including a visit to Blue House Yard. And like all good hunts, maps and prizes are par for the course!
Places are limited. Register for your chosen date and time through eventbrite:
