Saved Unitary Development Plan (UDP)
The UDP (Unitary Development Plan) was adopted by the Council July 2006 and was the main statutory plan that related to the development and use of land and buildings for the whole borough. The plan contained policies on housing, jobs, leisure, transport education and health. These policies were used to help decide whether to allow or refuse planning applications.
As of the 18 March 2013 the Local Plan: Strategic Policies for Haringey superseded the UDP to become the main statutory plan for the borough alongside the saved policies from the UDP.
