Help us pinpoint Haringey’s polling stations
Local residents are invited to help shape the future of voting in the borough, by having their say in a borough-wide review of polling stations and districts.
We have a responsibility to ensure all voters have reasonable access to a polling station. While some polling stations are owned by the council, many are private premises or have become unsuitable or unavailable for use over time. With 10 previous polling stations identified as out of action for next May’s local elections, we have to make sure we find the best new locations.
We’re asking Haringey residents and organisations to make suggestions for new polling station locations, and to share any feedback on existing polling stations. We’re especially keen to hear about locations that can be easily accessed by people with disabilities.
Details of the consultation can be found on our Haringey Votes web pages and are also available on request from the Civic Centre in Wood Green.
