Adult Protection
People working in social care, health and community safety networks across Haringey share the same adult protection procedure.
These include staff from:
- Haringey Council
- Metropolitan Police
- Haringey Teaching Primary Care NHS Trust
- Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust
- Providers of services in the statutory, private and voluntary sectors of the social care and health networks.
The guidance is designed to ensure that all staff involved in the care and treatment of vulnerable adults within Haringey adopt a consistent approach to working within a framework of risk assessment and protection.
The guidance and strategy were formally adopted in October 2005 and apply across all services for adults and older people.
